Crossrail Paddington Station

London

Crossrail Paddington station is part of the wider Crossrail programme, the largest construction project in Europe.

We are delivering public realm design information at Paddington, Pudding Mill Lane and Farringdon. Paddington is at the most advanced stage and we have completed complex rail engineering at this site. AECOM’s work for Paddington Station included the detailed design of the new Crossrail underground station, design of an underground link to the Bakerloo Line, and passive provision for a link to the District and Circle Lines. This project integrates the historic Paddington terminus building with the new Crossrail station via extensive underground passenger interchange.

We are successfully navigating the project vision to delivery on a physically complex site, within the tight program and budgetary constraints. Crossrail presents an opportunity to deliver a world class sustainable railway which is strategically important for the continued prosperity of both London and the UK. Our design philosophy is to drive value into the scheme through a confident and innovative approach that is both creative and collaborative.
