Old Oak is one of the UK’s best connected development opportunities and one of London’s largest inner city regeneration areas. With national investment in the High Speed 2 Rail Station yet located only 10 minutes into the heart of Central London and 10 minutes to check-in at Heathrow, the scale of the opportunity is extraordinary.
An AECOM-led team is developing the masterplan for the site, creating a bold yet deliverable redevelopment programme that will create a thriving new area in the city. Working collaboratively with the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, AECOM is also assessing the future infrastructure and water management requirements for the site.
The first phase of the scheme will deliver over 10,000 new homes and 8,000 jobs. The arrival of HS2 will cement Old Oak’s position as the best-connected development site in Europe, catalysing additional homes, jobs, cultural and educational uses from 2026.
