Contributing to the continued regeneration of the Greenwich Peninsula, Upper Riverside comprises five towers varying from 22 to 32 storeys, providing private, affordable and social housing alongside new retail outlets and other amenities such as The Tide.

AECOM’s multidisciplinary team has worked closely with Knight Dragon and architects SOM from the masterplan through to construction to align design and cost aspirations to find the best value solution for this striking development. Combining market-based sales revenue expectations with live design information shared in a common data environment, AECOM played an essential role in ensuring the highest-quality design options could progress without the project going over budget. In addition, our Residential Specialist Group managed a benchmark database of key cost metrics such as cladding, balcony construction, kitchen and storey heights that provided detailed cost information to increase value throughout the design development phase and deliver greater sales revenue potential.

A dedicated team of AECOM project managers is currently on site, acting as the employer’s agent during the construction phase to ensure the project delivers against all aspirations.
