In Saudi Arabia, the impact of our high-quality work and its potential for improving lives and transforming communities is already apparent. Over decades there, we have built a strong reputation, delivering on such major projects as the Jeddah Stormwater Drainage Program, King Abdullah Port and King Khalid International Airport.
But this is just the start. Alongside far-reaching social and cultural reforms, Saudi Vision 2030 is Saudi Arabia’s plan to diversify its economy, boost trade and investment, and develop its infrastructure, health, education and tourism sectors to secure the country’s long-term sustainable growth.
It is a blueprint of unprecedented scale and scope, generating once-in-a-generation projects – creating three new giga-cities; modernizing core infrastructure across Saudi Arabia, improving the quality of life for millions of citizens; and assisting the Saudi ministries in strengthening their governance and effectiveness.
AECOM has the talent and opportunity to help Saudi Arabia deliver this vision, and we are looking for exceptional people to lead and work on a diverse range of programs. These projects will be fast-paced, demanding but, most of all, rewarding both professionally and financially. These are the kind of opportunities you study and work hard for – the kind that stoke the passions we share in delivering transformational outcomes.
Together, we can build new legacies.
Panjan Nagamany, Senior Technical Manager, Jeddah, KSAI’ve been working in KSA since February 2012 and can tell you that the experiences you gain there are unrivalled, both professionally and personally. It’s certainly not a place you put up with just to save money. Learning about new cultures, visiting different places and working with local people – as well as expatriates from all around the world – broadens your perspective and makes you more open minded.
Saudi Arabia is undergoing a once-in-a-lifetime change, transforming its landscape, economy and future prospects, and delivering social reform. Driven by the Saudi Vision 2030, the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) is supporting a portfolio of projects of unmatched global ambition, range and scope. This includes modernizing core infrastructure and developing three new giga-cities – NEOM, Qiddiya and the Red Sea development.
These are career-defining projects that will leave a legacy for generations to come. Are you up for the challenge?
Saudi Arabia is a country on the cusp of huge economic and social change, with big ambitions to increase investment, diversify its industries, and equip its people to succeed in the decades ahead. This includes kick-starting a programme of major infrastructure projects – unrivalled in scale and scope – that will transform its landscape, and place Saudi Arabia at the forefront of the digital revolution.
In terms of overall value, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which is at the heart of Saudi Vision 2030, aims to increase its portfolio of assets to over US$2 trillion by 2030, greater than the GDP of Canada or Russia.
On the ground, this translates into plans for three new giga-cities – NEOM, Qiddiya and the Red Sea development – as well as to upgrade core infrastructure throughout the country, combining the ancient with the new in cities such as Makkah City.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia is developing a network of program management organizations (PMO) across its public sector to ensure best practice in governance and operation.

Rick Hopper, Director, Buildings & Places, Saudi ArabiaMy wife and I have lived in Saudi since 2016 and have witnessed the country’s dramatic transformation. Aligned to Vision 2030, women are now allowed to drive, cinemas are opening as fast as they can be built and international artists are invited to perform for the public. On a weekend there’s no shortage of pastimes – we join friends for a BBQ, look for fossils in the desert, relax in the sunshine or ride dirt bikes on the sand dunes.
There’s no shortage of outdoor activities and spaces to keep you entertained, with good restaurants, shopping malls, beautiful parks, beaches and world-famous landmarks – all on your doorstep. If you love an active life, you can spend your leisure time swimming, diving, playing sport, hiking or riding your bike through the sand dunes. You’re also only ever a short plane-ride away from the rest of the Middle East, as well as Africa and Asia.
