Steven Duong

Steven is a principal and oversees the Urbanism + Planning practice for AECOM in the western United States. He is an urbanist who leverages urban design as a vehicle for advancing Social Infrastructure in our cities and communities. His work cuts across multiple domains of design and planning, including climate and resilience, regional planning, transit-oriented development, master planning, data analytics, economic development, and community planning. Steven has led a wide range of projects in this role, most recently serving as the project manager for the City of Dallas 100 Resilient Cities Plan and Climate Action Plan and the Arapaho Innovation District TOD Master Plan. Steven also remains deeply involved in various organizations and academic institutions, serving as the former Director of the North Central Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA), as a member of the Urban Design Advisory Council and the Economic Development Advisory Board for the City of Dallas, and as a professor with University of Texas Arlington's College of Planning and Landscape Architecture.
