Suzanne leads the United States East region Education practice and has dedicated most of her career to higher education planning and design. She enjoys challenging college and university projects that explore the myriad of complex issues that support each client’s academic mission to advance the best in design, student outcomes, health and wellness, and sustainability. Always an advocate for advancing the client’s mission, Suzanne works closely with stakeholders to ensure their goals are thoughtfully integrated and beautifully executed. Her portfolio includes a diverse variety of campus projects including science and engineering facilities; student life, wellness, and athletic buildings; academic buildings and business schools; master plans; and projects located in historic settings. She is a frequent architectural juror and has presented at numerous conferences including the Society of College and University Planning, the Traditional Building Conference, and a webinar for the DC AIA chapter. She served as an appointed Planning Commissioner for Arlington County and as the Chair for Arlington County’s Historical Affairs and Landmarks Review Board.
