Veronica Siranosian

“I am a proud resident of Oakland and can’t imagine living in the Bay Area without the critical infrastructure that enables our quality of life; from our region’s transit, to access to great parks, to our airports and ports, and beyond. I’m excited to partner with our Bay Area communities, clients, and colleagues to deliver the projects that continue to make the Bay Area a great place to live and that further equity and inclusion for all for generations to come.”

With a background in public and private sector transportation and land use planning, Veronica is our Senior Vice President, Northern California/Bay Area Executive.

Born in Mexico of Armenian ancestry and raised in California, Veronica is acutely aware of the impacts of place on opportunity. She has dedicated her 15 year career to advancing building and infrastructure projects that connect people to opportunities and advance equity. With a background in urban and transportation planning, she combines her experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to serve clients globally and bring AECOM’s global expertise to the Bay Area. Veronica earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Development from UCLA and Master of Urban Planning from NYU.

She is also AICP certified, a board member of Urban Movement Labs, Los Angeles’ nonprofit transportation technology accelerator; a member of the California Transit Association IDEA (inclusive, diverse and equitable association) Task Force; and a mentor for the Women’s Transportation Seminar Bay Area Chapter.
