The building will be the first interdisciplinary and interdepartmental institute in the University of Oxford’s science area. and will provide research laboratories for c. 560 occupants.
Biochemistry Completion will integrate the outstanding but often atomised work undertaken in each of the University's science departments, in order to modernise the University’s approach to research and retain its cutting edge which it is known for around the world.
Researchers in the building will work at the interface between biomedical and physical sciences, with a particular focus on understanding the fundamentals of diseases of the 21st century.
