In 2010, the Fourth Embassy Area adjacent to the Jinzhan International Cooperation Service Zone was approved by the State Council.
The planning of the 298-hectare Jinzhan Central District is an excellence example of redefining the future development pattern of business district in Beijing, focusing on 4 areas:

The vision for of Jinzhan is to create an ecologically vibrant district that integrates with nature and vitality and connects the futureitalic text. It aims to become a Chinese-style world-class interactive city, a humanized vibrant waterfront district, and a sustainable future community.
As a highly open policy area overlapping Embassy Area and three zones of free trade, service trade and digital trade, Jinzhan will create a 'dual-zone, one-center' model to form a creation-consumption-international exchange closed loop, realizing the local transformation of industrial values.
In Jinzhan, we have created a series of scenes that integrate services and stimulate communication: Beixiao River vibrant waterfront, a new one-stop waterfront destination with culture, business, and tourism; The second Sanlitun, integrating trade, consumption, culture, and blue-green elements for a new scene of dynamic exchanges; The International Organization Zone, a shared scene where international organizations and institutions gather.
Jinzhan will focus on the introduction of high-quality international industrial population as its core goal and implement it in phases according to the principle of 'livable first, business-friendly second'.
