The new integrated eye health center at the St. Pancras Hospital site in Camden will be home to Moorfields Eye Hospital, the University College London (UCL) Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Charity. The relocation of the Moorfields Eye Hospital brings together excellent eye care, ground-breaking research and world-leading education in ophthalmology, forming one of the largest ophthalmic research sites in the world. UCL Institute of Ophthalmology is one of several specialized research centers and together with Moorfields Eye Hospital, it is one of the leading centers for eye research worldwide.
By designing this new center, we’ll be providing a world-class facility that will help shape the future of eye care, research and education. It will create a place that will maximize collaboration and knowledge exchange and enable greater interaction between patients, clinicians, and researchers to improve patient outcomes.
