The 168 km long costal highway in Cangnan, Zhejiang is on a mission to be more than just a transportation corridor.
As the primary integrated service consultant for Cangnan Local Government Infrastructure Investment, we brought multiple disciplinary teams together to work on this integrated project.
The master plan is to revitalize villages along fishery belt into an eco-tourism destinations featured with offshore fishing, seaweed farming, alumite mining and anti-pirate history. A greenway along the 168 highway is also planned to provide cycling path and strolling area for various activities.
The post stations with three levels are distributed based on different service provision, and the designs are embodied with Cangnan specific coastal culture and historic gestures. They will serve not only recreational functions but also costal natural balconies along magnificent mountains and seas.
