This new 18-courtroom legal facility and modern police headquarters is supporting the UK to combat fraud and economic crime
The new court building brings together the Civil Court, Mayor’s and City of London Court and City of London Magistrates’ Court, along with Crown Court hearing rooms, to provide modern infrastructure for civil justice and will support the creation of more than 2,000 jobs.
Internally the courts have been purposefully designed for each jurisdiction, supported by judicial and jury spaces as well as administrative and support areas.
The new headquarters for the City of London Police is a robust and resilient building, ensuring a long -life span and low maintenance. Accommodating around 1,000 officers and civilian staff, specialist space and access for police vehicles, the new building will be a significant addition to the already world-leading legal capabilities of the UK.
Externally a new civic space will be created for the area, serving as home for a selection of public art when complete in 2026.
