The Sanur Health & Wellness Tourism Special Economic Zone (SEZ) sits on an existing 42-hectare beachfront resort in Sanur, Bali. The vision for the project is to provide world class healthcare and a wellness resort in a beachfront setting. We are providing a multi-disciplinary detailed master plan with basic design for landscape and infrastructure in the SEZ and guiding the design for Bali International Hospital, together with the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
Our masterplan ensures that all existing community facilities within the project site, including Balinese temples and a mosque, are retained. There will also be a 5-hectare botanical garden within walking distance to the beach that will serve as a public park for resort guests and the nearby community.
Upon full completion, the project will provide an estimated 3,000 jobs on-site in the tourism, medical and commercial sectors. As part of this, there will also be a vocational nursing school provided to ensure local community skills are upgraded in support of the international hospital.
