AECOM is excited for the opportunity to connect with you at the upcoming APTA Mobility Conference in Portland! We’re inviting our clients and colleagues to join us following Monday’s sessions from 5:30 – 7:00 pm for a Social Hour, just a short walk from the Convention Center at the Metropolitan, 1021 NE Grand Avenue, Suite 600, Portland. Join us to learn about AECOM’s recent initiatives, network with our subject matter experts in mobility, and hear about our industry-leading efforts in transit decarbonization.

Graduate of APTA's Emerging Leaders Class of 2024
AECOM is proud to celebrate Lynn Feng, a Los Angeles based Transportation Planning Manager, as she graduates and presents her Capstone Project for the APTA Emerging Leaders Program. At AECOM nearly 8 years, Lynn has been a key leader in our Los Angeles planning department as well as our National Transportation Decarbonization team. Lynn has demonstrated her leadership on complex projects across the Southern California region and also delivered emerging and innovative projects supporting how many agencies are shifting to zero-emissions vehicles and infrastructure. We are excited to support Lynn and the her continued success in the transit industry.

Operating and Maintaining Your Charging Infrastructure

Description: Infrastructure is just as critical to successful battery bus deployments as the vehicles. This interactive session will feature two different agency approaches on maintaining charging infrastructure including how to structure contracts and measure performance. Battery Electric Bus Safety: Prevention and Management of Bus Fires through Facility Design and Hazard Analysis

Description: Join us for this important session to discuss Battery Electric (BEB) fires, including prevention and management. One speaker will discuss the importance of facility design, including research that has been conducted with NJ Transit. Another business member will dicuss results of a recent hazard analysis conducted for a transit agency, and how these findings will be incorporated into the agency's SOPs and facility designs. A final speaker will discuss types of batteries used in BEB buses.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses: A Roadmap from Procurement to Revenue Service

This cross-section of leaders will discuss what they wish they’d known when they started, what they continue to learn and adjust for, and will expand on the reasons they are pursuing the hydrogen fuel cell bus pathway.
