National sewerage asset management programme

Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (Cross-border)

Since 2014 the national Asset Management sewerage rehabilitation programmes for Irish Water and Northern Ireland Water provide assurance that national infrastructure assets will be a valuable part of Ireland’s infrastructure legacy for future generations.

Helping Irish Water and Northern Ireland Water maintain an ever-growing sewerage network, we deliver optimised sewer rehabilitation asset renewal and disposal programmes, maximising the life expectancy of thousands of sewerage assets. We provide asset planning, project management, site supervision and contract management services for the deployment of suppliers for sewer rehabilitation programmes across Ireland — North and South.

Presenting challenges in town and city centres, the rehabilitation of old urban sewerage assets can be expensive and disruptive to people’s lives. We promote sustainable environmental good practice by encouraging the use of no-dig methodologies in combination with fewer excavations, whilst achieving legal, regulatory and social requirements of our clients and stakeholders.

Utilising whole-life costing principles to appraise investment options, we support client business case preparation for the renewal of assets. With a focus on proactive appraisal and management of risks, we pre-emptively rectify sewer asset condition defects by undertaking sewerage asset condition surveys and rehabilitation for multiple capital works programmes.

Whether creating new assets, maintaining or disposing of existing assets, we help Irish Water and Northern Ireland Water make better informed, risk-based investment decisions, to build sustainable infrastructure across the island of Ireland.
