Client Support Framework (CSF)

Environment Agency, UK

The Client Support Framework (CSF) is an agreement between the Environment Agency and consultants to deliver services primarily for Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) projects. The CSF works alongside other Environment Agency frameworks to mitigate climate change and reduce its impacts, protect the environment and promote sustainable development.

The CSF is made up of two lots - Lot 1 Technical Delivery Support and Lot 2 Contract, Cost and Carbon Management - and is available to the Environment Agency, risk management authorities and wider public sector organisations including Defra.

The CSF partners:

  • maintain national consistency in technical and commercial delivery
  • operate across all Environment Agency frameworks - capital delivery and operational
  • provide independent assurance, review and advice
  • draw on a national pool of expert resources.

As a key partner on Lot 2 we have 200 professionals supporting project and programme delivery across the full spectrum of framework services, including cost and carbon management, commercial management, project and programme management, along with NEC contract administration. We provide integrated services through our specialist cost and digital teams, delivering innovative solutions such as the Cost and Carbon Estimating Tool and Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) Digital Strategy.
