Modelling and Mapping Framework (M&M)

Environment Agency, UK

Environment Agency's Next Generation Supplier Arrangements (NGSA) Modelling and Mapping Framework supplies specialist services in:

  • modelling
  • survey and mapping
  • incident management & emergency planning
  • data entry and information management

The Framework is used for national modelling and mapping requirements and locally for non-capital asset management and projects seeking to ‘better protect’ properties without utilising OM2s. We are one of three framework suppliers, working alongside Jacobs and JBA, and have a supply chain of seven sub-consultants providing specialist services.

We have 85 people on our approved framework staff list and are currently involved in 16 active contracts. This framework, which runs alongside the Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF), is active until 2023 and so far, has included projects such as modelling for the River Wensum River Restoration and streamlining local and national flood forecast messaging to Environment Agency’s (EA) National and Area incident roles.

Our wider supply chain includes:

  • RAB Consulting Ltd
  • Edenvale Young Ltd
  • Maltby Surveys
  • Wallingfor HydroSolutions
  • ABP Mer
  • Richard Allitt Associates
  • Plan B (UK) Ltd
    • Streamlining Flood Event Context
