Our ESG Services

It’s more important than ever for organisations to adopt environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) commitments, and take action to deliver a better world. We’re here to partner with you at every stage, from concept to design and delivery.

Our Strategy

With ESG principles embedded into everything we do, the goal of our Sustainable Legacies strategy is straightforward: to ensure that the way we run our business, and the work we do in partnership with our clients, leaves a positive, lasting impact for communities and our planet.

Embedding sustainable development and resilience across our work
When our planet thrives, we thrive.
The time to act is now

Increasingly severe climate events and the pandemic have shown that achieving resilience is an urgent and strategic imperative for cities, governments and organizations - including our own. Climate science also makes it clear that for development to be viable, it must be sustainable. That's why we’re embedding net zero, resilience and social value targets into all our work - and why we developed ScopeX™ to reduce carbon impacts by at least 50% on major projects.

We're already making steps

We're committed to a more sustainable and resilient future, partnering with those who want to make a positive difference in the world. The first step is to understand the base level we are working from - that's why we're measuring key ESG impacts through our operations and projects. The next step is embedding key targets - on net zero, resilience and social value - across our work, then actioning those.

ScopeX approach in use and evolving

Our ScopeX approach brings our skills in carbon reduction together with digital tools and data to meet our ambitious carbon reduction targets. Currently in use and evolving, it provides options to optimize carbon use based on location, situation, construction methods, operations approaches, cost, logistics, materials and energy. Client and project data are analyzed in a database what will help us to refine client support service.

Embedding ESG considerations into project rationale and operations

In addition to the traditional measures of economic return and job growth, we are now measuring key ESG impacts through our operations and projects. In the medium and long term, we need industry standards, which is why we are leading a taskforce on ESG measurement and transparency at the former Prince of Wales’ Sustainable Markets Initiative.
