Our ESG Services

It’s more important than ever for organisations to adopt environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) commitments, and take action to deliver a better world. We’re here to partner with you at every stage, from concept to design and delivery.

Our Strategy

With ESG principles embedded into everything we do, the goal of our Sustainable Legacies strategy is straightforward: to ensure that the way we run our business, and the work we do in partnership with our clients, leaves a positive, lasting impact for communities and our planet.

Improving social outcomes
Towards a fairer, more equal society
The time to act is now

To improve social outcomes, our focus is on empowering our teams to deliver projects that deliver real, measurable value for individuals, communities and society in general. In addition, our teams must reflect the diversity of the clients and communities we serve.

We’re already making steps

Although values such as wellbeing and equity are universal, to be most effective social impact requirements should be driven by local needs. To support best practice we've set up a global social value group, with goals and metrics set at a regional and local level. Alongside our own ESG goals, we're helping our clients deliver real social impact through strategies, services and solutions.

Global priorities backed by regional action plans

By establishing a global social value working group with each region represented, we've been able to define social value at AECOM and audit best social value practice across the organization. The group has developed global priorities complemented by regional action plans and identified an initial set of key performance indictors for ongoing measurement consideration.
