Lauren Swan

Director of resilience and sustainable development, U.S. East and Latin America

Over Lauren’s 18-year career, she has implemented future-looking climate adaptation and mitigation strategies that provide economic, social and environmental benefits to communities most impacted by climate change.

Her leadership on the X-REEFS team under DARPA’s Reefense program — which aims to develop revolutionary hybrid biological and engineered reefs to mitigate coastal flooding and storm surge — combined her vast knowledge and passion for revitalizing critical ecosystems. Lauren’s experience in with public and private stakeholders underlines the importance of incorporating ESG every step of the way.

Her background, combined with her technical expertise, allows her to bridge the divide between client and community concerns to deliver solutions that pave the way to a more sustainable and resilient future.
